Hi there - so I checked my map version is 2020. It’s an incorrect region (thanks dealer - it should be HK). Anyways it’s 2023 now and the map version is 2020… am I correct to assume my map is outdated?
i automatically assume that my MBUX and other software is also outdated. I’ve taken a screeshot.
does anyone know where I can find the list of latest version / updates for map and MBUX - as well as other modules? I have a feeling I’m outdated any the dealer in HK don’t care to help.
I think your map region is actually correct - according to MB's own map distributor, Hongkong does not have its own separate map pack. The map data of hongkong is likely included in the 'China' pack.
Taiwan, on the other hand, does have its own map pack. See this screenshot below.
Your map version, however, is absolutely out of date. The China map was already on V9.0, in 2022. There probably is a V10.0 out right now, for 2023. And yours is still on V3.0, dated 2020...
So definitely get your dealer to update it. (They probably gonna charge you though, and this is likely the reason they haven't already done it for you in the first place)
