Hello everybody, recently my dad bought a S500 W223. It's a 2022 model year and it came with the optional digital light system. I recently discovered that when I unlock the car at night there isn't any animation it just turns blue and that's all. I recently watched a video on youtube about the digital lights and it showed an animation which the car my dad owns doesn't have. I will drop a screenshot of that part from the video. I just wonder if it's bugged or something and I wanted to ask you guys about it.
Those features are disabled in the United States. Some people in this forum have used a coder to "hack" their systems to allow the features to work, but again, in the US, we don't get any of the advanced LED light features here.

I think the US still gets the animations. It was on a loaner I had. You can set it in the MBUX settings.
Note sure about that particular feature, but I think the full operation/capability of the digital lights in the W223 can be unlocked as others have done for ILS on the W223. Contact/google search for ZEleBest Pte Ltd , I think they can unlock (encode) it for you given that yours is a US Spec’s which has some of the features locked (decoded).

Those features are not disabled on US cars. Our US car has that animation and another one which projects some waves and then the Mercedes logo and Mercedes text.
The OP mentioned the lights turning blue. This is a feature that is not on US cars so I would say OP is not in the US.
