Mercedes Me activation
Hi I brought a W223 S500 AMG premium plus model but my unit is a second hand parallel import unit from UK , when I try activate Mercedes Me it can’t as high chance previous owner didn’t sign out or de register from the apps , I am from singapore I have try local agent but they reply as unit not from them they can’t do anything about it , anyone know how can I get it register on Mercedes Me ?

I would suggest contacting local (Singapore) retrofit experts but I'm afraid they need to have official tools etc. as it would not be enough to code the car, the MB servers also need to accept the car and MB UK would not want to pay for the cellular internet connectivity.

Sorry about that; doesn't make sense. the MercedesMe button in the roof is most viable. Third party programmers cannot augment this process as it's performed specifically through MB and the purchaser of the automobile.

You will not be able to activate Mercedes me connect on a UK car in Singapore. The communications module in the car is provisioned for European carriers, not Asian carriers. MB doesn't support transferring it between different regions. Basically the VIN of the car is not in the database for the Asian market, so you won't be able to activate services for it. You can only activate the services in its original home market.

its related of communications module not capable of getting the signals of the asian network system. they work on different frequency.

Yes, there's that, too. As opposed to mobile phones that support all the frequency bands in use, so they can roam around the world, the HERMES module is designed for specific markets to support the local bands only. Simplifies the certification process. Used to be that even with mobile phones, not all phones supported the worldwide bands. Those that did used to be called world phones.

also the new 206 ,223 , 295 and cars similar to those has RAMSES , Router And Mobile SErviceS.
and the ramses cant roam on most of the countries. only in europe.
