On 2024 AMG 63e I noticed that when I start the car it always defaults to EL mode. I would prefer it start in C mode. Is there any way to change the default? I did see you can have it ask if you want to change it to the "previously used" mode but I was hoping to just have it start in C mode without any interaction. Thanks

No, but if you accelerate fast it would switch to C. The only way you can default is by coding, see link below I am actually hopping they would let you select at least C by default with LCI.

There is a setting to remember the last mode and start/stop state. When enabled it will pop up a toast at startup to use the last mode; the downside here is that you have to hit the toast at every start. It does however beat hitting the start stop and then going into the drive menu and changing the mode.

When I had mine coded they could disable start/stop but not start in last drive mode. They've been figuring out stuff since, and that may have changed.
