W223 peeps! Anybody opt for any of the third party key fob covers? Albeit rubber, leather/leather-ish, carbon etc... Thought I saw the MB dealer store had rubber looking ones but not sure how the fitment is or for Amazon ones as well.
This rubbery one available at Amazon works very well. I kept dropping my remote until I put this on...FYI, it covers the panic button, so you'll lose that. Use a credit card to help slide it onto the remote (you'll see what I mean when you put the cover on)

I like that one too. What color did you opt for and how's it holding up? I'm the same, I don't drop it often but when I do - I cringe thinking it's going to break or go bad.

i just went for the generic black one. My car is black on black. It’s a very snug fit, offers a little non-slip protection and looks new 6 months after I bought it. It adds very little weight to an already heavy key fob.
I already hate keys so much that I can't take them even naked - so adding a cover is a no-go for me.
Can't wait until all my cars have no physicals keys at all. Owning a BMW and Tesla, makes my Mbenz feel outdated to be honest. It's a shame that we are in 2024 and almost 2025, and still UWB phone key isn't even an option on the top luxury models like S-class and GLS.

I wish MB had the Apple keys also. It was a big selling point of the i7 for me. Our house is fully smart locked, so the only keys we have to carry are car keys.
I clip my keys on my belt loop, thats why I use a cover. If I carried them in my pocket I wouldn't use a cover.
You really loved your Lexus, these are exactly like Lexus ones ( except the colour )
These are much higher quality than what used to come with the Lexus keys. I never used covers on my Lexus keys, when I got my first LS460 I got the credit card key, and thats actually when I stopped carrying keys. Before that I just carried keys in my pocket. So when I got the S560 I didn't want to go back to carrying a key in my pocket so I decided to use these and jut clip the key to my belt.
