True car Military offer code

Thinking of getting into a 2024 W223. I convinced the dealer to take some $13000 off of MSRP but wasn’t satisfied.I found this site that offers discounts to vets(True car Military offer). Once they verified my veterans status through ID me, I was given a numbered coupon. Supposed to be good for $8000 off a 2024 S Class. Less for ‘25’s. Apparently, Mercedes reimburses the dealer directly so no money out of their pocket. Anybody used this? Sounds to good to be true but who knows.

Well, it was too good to be true. Apparently, the $13,000 that they offered to discount the 2024 was money from Mercedes. Mercedes would not stack the discounts, they offered another $5000 on my trade and I accepted the deal. So, I have a 2024 Mojave silver S class with the night package, rear axle steering, warmth and comfort package, AMG line, and 20 inch gloss black multi spoke wheels. The only option that it did not have that I really wanted was the HUD display. I really prefer the looks of the 21 inch wheels however given everything I’ve read on the site I thought the 20 inche wheels would be a better choice. It has Hankook all season tires which seemed to work ok on mostly dry roads on the way home.
First impression is that it’s faster and more comfortable than my 2020 s class. Distronic is a step up from the 2020 but every once in a while it will wander in a wide sweeper. I’m familiar with the tech as my wife has a 2024 GLE 450 so not much of a learning curve. The stereo seems much better but I’m not an audiophile. Road noise at extralegal speeds is nonexistent. Only 500 miles but so far no squeaks, rattles or other weird behaviors. The rear axle steering is noticeable, especially in parking lots and is a keeper as far as I’m concerned. Because it has the 48 volt battery the auto stop start feature is not nearly as annoying as it was in my 2020. It’s not as seamless as my wife’s 450 but not bad. They only time you really notice it is when you use the HOLD feature and there’s a slight hesitation on acceleration. I may attempt to have it coded out. The Mojave silver metallic is a darker silver than my wife’s Cirrus silver. The night package and black wheels make for a good looking vehicle. So far I’m satisfied.

+1 on Mojave Silver. I love mine. Do not know why MB discontinued it.

I don’t know for sure why they discontinued the color but it actually looks more gray than it does silver. Perhaps that’s the reason.
