Fairly certain the 48V battery is Li Ion and not AGM and normal max is 80%

I just drove around for a bit after seeing this thread for the last couple of days...a little combined highway/side road type driving...15 miles or so...during this time on the workshop/vehicle data menu I had a low of 45 volts to a high of 50 volts, charge status from a low of 63% to a high of 76%, amperage from a low of -113.3 A to a high of 206.0 A (the highs of 50 volts, 206.0 A with a charge status of 76%, temp 101 degrees were reached coming off a highway speed of 92 MPH a few seconds after moderate braking coming down a long offramp.

After 2 hours of interstate driving 12volt battery was as 12.38 volts at rest. I’m assuming it should be about 12.8 volts.

Fairly certain you are right, although in MB's case even the AGM is not charged to max charge.
