2022 S580
2022 S580 steering squeak
My 2022 S580 steering squeaks when turning at low speeds (less than 10mph). Anybody else have this problem and solution if any?
If it’s a major issue I will wait until next servicing.

My 2022 S500 does the same thing at 45k miles. It is a low volume high-pitched squeaking while turning the wheel heard inside the car coming from inside the car. Sounds to me like the mechanism needs lubrication, which I will ask them to address at next service.

Mine whines at times as well. It sounds like a motor whine as opposed to something rubbing. I created a separate thread here somewhere and others have also reported it.

This is a common issue. It's often just a dry steering shaft bushing where it goes through the firewall. A quick lubrication by the dealer during your next service usually fixes it. Not a major issue to worry about.
