PHEV from EV world
I m looking for a PHEV and am shopping a panamera e-hybrid vs a 580e. I have had many EVs from various manufacturers (Tesla, Rivian, BMW) and my car ADD is kicking in. Does the 580e have anything like “dog mode” where you can use the app to keep the climate control running off the battery?
Unrelated question, my local MB (new country) claims no 2024 580e were imported with the 4D audio due to chip shortages. This is a must have for me as I have tested the 4D vs the base. This would be helpful to confirm when shopping for a pre owned 580e.

You won't even get Phone as a Key in the W223, when all those other cars you mentioned have had Phone as Key for several years now.
There is the equivalent of "dog mode" in the W223, but it's not exactly the same too. You can easily find a 2024 with 4D, even 2023s. I've seen many... Even the Panamera by the way, unless you go for a 2025 model year, would be behind technologically.
Your dealer is right about the 4D audio; it's extremely rare on 2024 models. Always check the specific car's build sheet using its VIN to confirm it has the feature.
Regarding driver assistance — do all S-class come with the full suite on MB driver assistance? I have played with the configurator over the years and do not recall ever seeing a driver assistance option.
