HUD Inoperative
After multiple visits to the dealer and software updates I still get the random HUD inoperative - consult workshop message. Any chance someone knows the TSB or Xentry Tips and will share? I found the one for the 167 but I have been unable to locate one for the 223

Mine has been in several times (5 - 6) for this and even has had the HUD replaced (requiring removal of the dash). If there has been a SW update since 2020 (if I am reading that correctly) and my dealer hasn't done it, I will be pretty cranky

On the 223, the random HUD inoperative message is almost always a failing projector unit itself. The solder joints on the internal power supply crack. Common TSBs are LI54.10-P-063130 and LI82.10-P-060798. The official Xentry tip is to replace the HUD unit (A222 900 13 01), as repairs to the internal PCB are only temporary. Check for stored fault codes in the actual HUD control unit (N123/2), not just the central gateway. If you see codes like 9101 or 9102, it confirms the internal fault.

Not the HUD unit
HUD unit was replaced and the new unit did not rectify the issue. Unfortunately the saga continues...
