Duel Water pumps
My 23 S580 was just towed yesterday for the second time in 3 weeks for a cooling system malfunction. Both times now it appears to be failed water pumps. they have changed both pumps gaskets and sensors. I only have 28K on the car water ;pumps should last 80-100 K. anyone else had this issue? Dealer is claiming they have never seen this issue on an S class

I had a similar issue with my 2022 S580 at around 13k miles. I kept getting a CEL with code P0128 (cold temperature). After countless service visits and multiple thermostat, temperature sensor, and upper wire harness replacements, MBUSA determined the issue was a software glitch related to a recent update affecting certain models. A new software update was released (I’m not sure if it was specific to my car) and installed in September, and so far everything has been fine. I hope this helps.

I got the car back they are claiming an air pocket in the system they re-bleed the system. we will see
