2024 s580e lemon lawed.
In no car I have ever traded in or sold has things that have been repaired or replaced under warranty been a factor. I think you're concerned about nothing here.
This reminds me of my buddies brand new Ford Escape Hybrid. Same kind of deal. Barely any miles on his car and the dealership diagnoses a grinding noise as the transmission. It takes over a month to repair. He calls me and is crowing about talking to a lemon law lawyer and how they promised him a new car plus additional compensation as a big check. He is thinking he can come out of this deal with a better car. I tell that is not going to happen. Scroll ahead in time he gets the car back it is fixed and he talks to the lemon lawyers. They say if he want's a new car his is on his own but they can get him a check for like $5K if he signs away his right to file a lemon law claim which he declines.

That said, if it's buttoned up nicely how would anyone know? I've reviewed an enormous amount of CarMax reports and never saw a repair as specific as a transmission listed.
From there (as a used buyer, which I am): there are so few 1:1 Mercedes S Class cars. They all have different options. So if you want those options, you get that car. Secondly, I would be inclined to believe the new transmission is neutral, or maybe positive.
Seems like they still have the option of the lemon law route anyhow due to the 30 day limit.
