I had a Maybach-like spec in my last S-class 222,, and it was WELL WORTH IT. In fact, my interior was spec’ed better than the majority of the Maybach trims on the market. Felt to me like a short-base Maybach. It truly elevated my ownership experience and probably even spoiled me to never settle for base packages ever again. Never thought I’d appreciate some options I had back then until I lived with it. Father taught me that money doesn’t buy happiness… well sometimes it does (at least some times when u can afford it) lol. Congrats again OP; Well done!
The Verde Silver Magno is a MANUFAKTUR paint but not a MANUFAKTUR Exclusive paint so there should not be any delays from that. The delays come when you get into the MANUFAKTUR Exclusive paints. Your color combo won't go through the PA1 department which is a good thing.
Guess what? I went to another MB dealer to try n get a better prod. date. He was trying to build my options and got this kick back error in the system:
paint code 378 is currently restricted. Verde Silver Magno

This happens when the number of allocated spots for something is taken up. I had this happen to me on my CLE53 when I ordered the car.
Loving, a little help, please. Did you have a DOG with pictures of the colors? How did you know to choose that shade of green paint and how did you choose an interior color that would compliment the paint? I'm asking because, I am unaware of a DOG that has color pics. Another question reference ordering something special, what is meaning of PA1? Thanks. Really admirable build. Congratulations.

Here is a copy of the latest DOG that has pictures. I find the paint colors are not as accurate and only give you an idea. The interior colors may be a little more accurate. I spent hours on the internet looking at cars that had these colors. For my colors, they are not as popular so that task took a long time, but you can usually find them.
PA1 is a program Mercedes has that had allowed you to custom order a car with previous colors and you could even change some of the panels on the door and dash. Now that they came out with the MANUFACKUR program, they are allowing you to order those colors without having to go through the PA1 process. That process still exists but given all the choices, you would only use PA1 to change panel colors and things like that.

I am very excited that I have ordered my new 2027 S class with a production date of the second decade in June. I am not sure if that will move given my exterior and interior color choices, but we will know soon enough.
I don't know if you recall, but I had a fully loaded 7 series that I loved, which I bought in 2023 when I looked at both cars. At that time I had thought that BMW had done a better job. This year, I am really excited about the new S class and looking forward to driving this new car.

Have you had a Mercedes with an E – ABC system? My car has it and I was on the fence about getting the car because some folks in this forum suggested that it would be a mistake. Now that I’ve had my car for almost a year, I absolutely love it. Worth every penny.
MSRPs are on their way up (IMHO) as MB has been eating tariffs and will begin to "feather in" tariffs a bit more and may change product mix. My 2025 S63 with virtually all options was $240k. So a loaded S580 for 2027 S580 is likely to be $210k plus so Loving is verry close is estimate if not even higher!

Interesting discussion. I was looking at a similarly high spec I ran through my local configurator (Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates).
The local dealers here (EMC and Gargash) want the configurator price + 10% = AED 1,085,000 = USD 295,640
This would be with a warranty valid until 105,000 KM (Gargash) and 150,000 KM (EMC) and a service contract which runs the duration of the warranty AFAIK. There might be a very small room for negotiation of less than 5% on these numbers, but that's still insane. Very temped to buy a CPO / barely used Maybach S680 - but haven't seen many ownership reviews of them on the forum. I would be driving it myself about half the time, and chauffeured the remainder. What would the forum suggest? buy the new S580 or buy an existing S680...

What year is the Maybach?
I can only speak for myself, but here's my thoughts:
I purchased my previous Silver 2022 S580 new, which was my first S‑Class. After it was involved in an accident, I replaced it with a used 2023 CPO Olive S580 once the original car was repaired. While there were a few aspects of the 2022 model I didn’t particularly care for, the 2023 gave me the opportunity to get features I hadn’t realized I wanted. My current 2023 is exceptionally well equipped and, frankly, a car I wouldn’t otherwise be able to afford.
For me, my current car with the extra year of warranty and other included features was the right fit for me.
If I was making the same decision as you are, I'd go for the CPO Maybach.
