I’ve never seen the limiter, despite plenty of opportunity. 135mph in 3rd was plenty for me. The sound and feel told me all I needed to know. It’s an AMG, purpose built to be driven at the limit forever and not break — “and not break” being the key words. As in “24 Hours of Spa Francorchaps” and “Constructors Championship.” That racing heritage thing is real, not just marketing.

The s55's are limited to 250kph which is around 153mph but can be version coded to 300 kph if I recall it's within the instrument cluster computer/module or ecm . Need star sds to do it but I used our autel scanner to do it successfully on mine
