Which wheels come standard on the S63?
 

I am very confused as to what wheels are standard. On the website it states 5 spoke 20 inch AMGs. I assume these are the samee wheels as the S550 AMG package but in 20 inch instead of 19 inch. But from some autoshow pics and even mbusa pics it seems that they are diff wheels. Can someone post a pic of what they will loook like?

According to the Dealer Orderging Guide photo's we have the standard wheel is the 5 spoke AMG Wheel that comes on the S65AMG. The 030 Performance Package car will come with a split 5 Spoke AMG wheel. I can send a copy of the guide to you in an email, PM me your email address if you like. We have some cars that were released to carrier on 5/17. I should see these cars this coming weeks and we will post some pics. They are all coming with the std. wheel as the early cars could not have 030 added.

The 5-spoke, 20" wheels are with the 030 performance package. The MBUSA web site shows two different wheels. The other wheels (multi-spoke) are standard.

Do NOT believe the 030 package is not available on early cars. Mine will be here in two weeks, and it has the 030 package. I have the "NetStar" confirmation.

Greg from Glauser emailed me the ordering guide. the 5 spoke 20 inch AMGs as seen on the S65 are standard. There is no mention of the multispoke and I am confused as to why they are all over mbusa's s63 page. I sure hope those are not standard bc they are ugly!

Here's why its confusing .....

a) the multi-spoke wheels that are shown selectively on MB's website are the standard wheel in Europe, and are 19 inches.

b) The standard S63 wheel in the US is the 20inch, 5 spokes shown in the attachment. This wheel is a 714 Euro option in europe

c) The performance package S63s come with the 5 split spoke wheel shown in the file attached. It is a 2023 Euro option in europe (over the 19 inch, not 20 inch price)

As you can tell from several of the postings in the last few days showing early release cars in the US. the performance package IS AVAIL and the photos with split spoke Type IV wheels are performance package cars (an extra $7,000)

What is NOT avail yet in the US are the cars with several features that will be standard, including most importantly real-time traffic info through the navigation system in major US cities. These will be the standard issue car in 1-2 months
