Asked Noxxin if he would take me for a ride...
E430: Get over it. You asked and he said no. What's the big deal. Anyway, posting contents of PM without both parties consent is against TOU (read: instaban).
Noxxin: Did this guy keep asking for rides or was it this one time? Also, the posting PM bit may for you as well in this case.
Everyone else: I hardly think this is stalking or harassmaent. Y'all need a thicker skin.
That said... A simple forum search reveals that E430Tuner does not have an E63. He has (or had) a '99 E430 that he's been trying to sell since '02.
That just really crossed the line IMO. Having a great grandmother who was incamped and almost starved to death I take personal offence to that.
And I don't blame you about refusing the request for the ride. It is only a 150k or so car and can be replaced, but your life and feeling of safety cannot.
And also being new here but being a long time Mercedes owner I know where you are coming from with working the forum..

#1: If you use the message board's "Manage Attachments" feature, it will create little thumbnails for you which link to the actual image. It's a gray button below your typing area.
#2: If you know the URL of an image you have already uploaded, then you can link to the image using the "Insert Image" icon. It's a little "mountain" picture above your typing area.
This will show the picture in its actual size.
If you don't have any other place to upload your images, you can combine #1 and #2. Let's say you've already uploaded a picture using the board's "Attachment" feature. Click on the image to find its full URL. Then use the "Insert Image" icon to display that image.
Hope that helps.

The Best of Mercedes & AMG
I'm even able to post 1056x1408 pixel pictures with that method.
When I'm (finally!) done with BenzFanz.com, anyone will be able to use the site to post 360-view pics and stop-action-animation pics, in addition to regular picture galleries. (No special equipment needed)
Tip: Give the controls at the bottom a few seconds to load. I'll work on a faster version soon.

how does that work?
I'm assuming I have to take pictures from all angles?

Less pics = quicker to take the pics
More pics = smoother viewing afterwards
The stop-action animation can be used for events such as:
* car going around a corner
* convertible roof closing/opening
* door opening to reveal illuminated door sills
.. etc.
And of course, the picture galleries can be used for any pics
Sorry, I'll have to work on the Mac support later. Thanks for the heads up. Maybe you can test for me when I'm working on the Mac.

Here's a test page for the stop-action animation using a 1:18 model of the SLK.

Enjoy!
