295's on the s65?

295's on the s65?
I had 285's on my 220 65 and there was no issue with clearances. So, on my 221 I thought I'd try 295's......knowing that the difference between the 2 wasn't that drastic. Well, I went to discount yesterday to have the Michelin pilot super sport 295's mounted and we didn't even bother trying. It was the widest 295 I've ever seen.....they were massively wider than the stock 275s. It looked like more of a 305 to me. So, I've ordered the 285 continental contisport contact 3. Any of you guys have any experience with the 285s, or this tire? The 20" wheel makes our selection limited, especially in the 285. Just curious if someone is already running them on a 221 and if so, which one?

I'm running Dunlup SP Sport Maxx Js, 285 30ZR 20's. . No issues with clearance, but you can really hear them at slow speed. They are mounted on Barbus 10.5 X 20 in wheels.
Please let me know how the Contis are, I may go to them next set.

Thanks gents. I ended up going with the Michelin pilot super sports, but in the stock 275 size. That tire is 1 inch wider than the continental extreme contact 3 that's on there now. I'll let you know how I like them once they're mounted. I still got 500-1000k miles on the continentals.
