The time has finally come...selling my beast!
Well, as the title says, the time has arrived. I am finally selling my 2006 S65 with 20k in speedriven modifications, including downpipes, top mounts, billets, quaife locker, built trans, custom CAI, meth injection, supplemental HE, and about 100k in maintenance receipts. It has 98k miles on it, 60k on factory replacement motor. In the Ebay ad, I do a full write up of the good and bad of the car. If you know anyone looking for a clean S65, have them check out eBay after 9PM eastern tonight - I'd appreciate it. When the link goes live, I'll post it here.
Why, you ask? I am ducking when I say this, but I really want a new Camaro ZL1 1LE. Double why, you ask? Because I blew up two motors in 6 days on the track, one in my 944 Turbo Race Car, and one in this W210 chassis LS1 conversion I have. After replacing both motors, I decided I'd like one track car that I can drive to the track, play with all day, and drive home. I'll keep one of my 944 Turbos for real racing, but my S65, my 968, and one of my 944 turbos all need to find new homes. I am posting it here because I'd really like the car to stay in an enthusiasts hands. call me if you want any details, 603-498-1484.
I am sorry to see the car go, and this forum has been an awesome resource for me over the years...I will still have both the LS1 tremec 6 speed w210 and a monster build w140 OM606, so I'm not leaving the MB fold!

Thanks, Nick! You may notice in my eBay write up that I reference some guy in England who may have the only more highly maintained ABC system on the planet...that would be you

after a harrowing time on Ebay and a canceled sale, I have reposted on CL and in our own classified section, if you want to take a look. this time there is a price.

Have you tried posting on the Facebook AMG page? Seems like a lot of cars highly modified sell there.

Beautiful car! I’ve spent more than that on my car this year. I just spent $1600 a few minutes ago and ordered the Quaife from Quaife themselves. They say we have to modify the input shafts or something.. doh!

I didn’t use Facebook much before joining either but it’s very lively. A lot more than here.

Thanks John! I've re-listed on eBay even though I would have preferred to sell it to a fellow enthusiast. Here come the tire kickers and zero feedback buyers from Nigeria. No, this is not a bigoted statement. I have already had three bids from zero feedback buyers from African nations who just created accounts in the past few days or months!
