2006 S65 ECU/TCU 100+ hp tune - Renntech, Eurocharged, or Speedriven?
Hello all. I own a stock 2006 S65 AMG, and want to upgrade the stock hp by 100+ the easiest and safest way possible, which seems to be an ECU and TCU tune upgrade.
The three companies I'm aware of for this type of upgrade are Renntech, Eurocharged, or Speedriven.
Please let me know your thoughts on the companies listed if you've used them for any upgrades, and how things went.
I don't want to make a mistake choosing the wrong company, that could both cost me money and damage my S65.
If there's anything else I don't know, please let me know based on your experience.

We tune these cars all the time! With the 2006 S65, I can send you a cable and you can tune it at home provided you have a laptop. Its a pretty straightforward process. 670HP and 822LB-FT is definitely no joke! It will improve all car in all aspects!

I put this Eurocharged tune on my 2006 S65. I posted about it at the time but here is a summary. 1.) It definitely wakes up the car and it feels more responsive at part throttle. It takes less throttle to maintain cruise speed, probably because there is more timing advance with the tune. 2.) Fuel mileage at highway cruise improved by a solid 1.5mpg. 3.) I used a computer with Windows 7 to do the download and uploads. I assume they have validated their software with Win 10 by now. 4.) Before you start to put the new tune on the ECU make sure your battery is at 100%. Use a top line Schumacher (or similar) charger and conditioner, not a trickle charger. I did not do this and my battery was down to 11.2V and about 30% charge at the end of the process. Another 5 minutes and it may have failed.
