Replacing Oil Cooler Line Questions??
Second to last hose with the silver fitting. How do I take that off to replace that hose?
I have a hole in my oil cooler hose where it connects to my oil filter housing. It is right next to my abc pump and i guess my pump came in contact with it. Over time it created a hole . The other day it began to spray all over the engine bay. This hose is withing hands reach so i would like to replace myself. The only thing is it has this silver piece that connects it to another hose and i have no idea how to take it off. Can anybody give advice? This is on an S55 m113k engine.

Ok so im going to replace that line tomorrow. Im trying to fine a DIY on it. Im going to pick up the part today but im trying to determine if it is actually an oil cooler line or not. It goes to what looks like an intercoooler on the front right passenger side. Do i need to drain the oil first?
