New To this car

I am new to the whole Mercedes world (just bought my car yesterday). My car is a 2010 MB S65 AMG with 34xxx miles on it. My first few questions are is there anything I should do first (what fluids to change, and whatnot)? And is there anything I need to be aware of (recalls or common problems)? I am excited to be apart of this community.

Welcome! Please post a photo of the S65. Mercedes publishes clear maintenance work, based on mileage. Google will find the information, likely on the MBUSA website. There is also a VIN based recall finder on the MBUSA website, if I recall correctly.

Nice car OP. In the right colors too!

OP.... Service the transmission now if it hasn't been done in the last year. Fresh fluid keeps it alive.

Be sure that brake fluid is fresh. Differential oil every 30,000.

It is due for engine mounts and front suspension arms. Suspension arms make squeaks and clunks over bumps and when turning the steering wheel. Engine mounts flatten out into a gooey mess.

When she she needs brake rotors upgrade front brakes with bigger rotors on hats and solid calipers to reduce unsprung weight and get rid of (junk) two piston sliding calipers. Does good things for it.

Looks like she is glad to be in that seat! Keep her happy!

On the fluid change front...you might want to have the ABC flushed, or at least the micro filter in the ABC system changed.

if you plan to fix it yourself, get a Sdconnect and Xentry Das for diagnostic it.

ABC filter and flush I'd say every 3 years or 45k miles, whichever comes first.

Nice car. GL

What tranny fluid, diff fluid, and brake fluid do you recommend? Also where is a good place to get aftermarket mounts like you suggested? Like I said I’m new to this whole thing!! Also been looking around for maybe an exhaust upgrade and a few more simple things to add some more hp. Thanks for the help.

Where is a good place to pick those up at? And which one because I saw there was a few options for the SDconnect. There was a SDconnect C4 and a C5. Thanks for the help

Do not buy aftermarket motor/trans mounts. Buy OEM from www.mboemparts.com. I use RedLine synthetic trans fluid and also use their diff fluid.
