Malfunctioning circuit board S55 AMG 2003, PLEASE HELP
So I own a 2003 S55 AMG, and a couple days after I bought it, I hit an elk, and when I went to replace my passenger side mirror, as it was torn off in the accident, I unfortunately touched the circuit board nearest to the mirror with a screwdriver(the one the mirror plugs in to). This resulted in a pop, fizz, and a puff of smoke (I was dumb and hadn't disconnected my battery.) and shortly after plugging everything back in, and getting the new mirror on the car, I took her for a drive and lo and behold, ALL my stuff was funky, blinkers randomly engaging, high beams stuck on, turning off randomly, gauges not working, the whole 9 yards.
Well I took it to a licensed mercedes mechanic in the area, and after a few hours of diagnosis, they concluded that if that door was unplugged completely, that the issues stopped.
So while I now have none of the previous issues I also am left with a car without a functioning passenger door essentially, save for the locks, no seat adjustment, no mirror blinker, I can retract my mirrors, well, the driver side one, but the passenger one stays out, I cant use my heat or my air conditioned seat on that side currently, my seat massagers, really anything on that side in the front, and really would like to have it back to functioning condition.
My question is, what do I need to replace, because the mechanic I took it to advised me to replace the whole door, but I think there has to be a way to just replace the board which I touched with a screwdriver, and if there is, I am wondering where I can find it.

I can see why you would think that but I would counter with if it was indeed the whole fuse module would it not be effecting the car even after that door is unplugged? I believe as someone else said it may be the DCM, would replacing the DCM be a good starting point?

yes of course that door module must be replaced
then as it popped and fuzzed, go for fusechecks
post your vin and I'll give you the correct replacement numbers
