Strange socket in the trunk of S63 Cabriolet 2017?

Guys, anyone please knows what purpose does this socket have? It's located on the left in the trunk of my S63 cabriolet 2017 under the light. There is no number on it.
I thought that it could be to connect the CTEK charger, but no way - different connectors.

Does anyone have a clue? Thank you!

Another forum post identified the socket as the receiver for the MB Battery Maintainer plug. The MB unit is made by CTEK but has unique connection plugs.

I don't have that receiver on my S63 Coupe (my trunk socket on the passenger side was rewired directly to the battery so I can use the "lighter plug" provided by MB with the maintainer) Looking at the connector on the MB unit it certainly looks like it will fit that receiver socket.

Yep, it's for the trickle charger. There's a section in the manual starting on page 143 titled Parking the vehicle for a long period. That section continues onto page 144 where it shows a picture of the connector.

I'm guessing MB figured the cabs might be seasonal vehicles so they went ahead and included the socket and charger. Here's the info from the manual:

Just looking in the manual, thank you so much, you've helped me a lot!
That must be it. Will ask at the dealer if they have the connector/socket so I can connect it during winter.
