How long from car built to delivery?
I know it's a stupid question because of all the different variables, but I'll ask anyway
That was the last question of the evening.
Now I need to follow up with the great folks D.B. Cooper recommended for paint protection and window tinting. That should be fun (thanks again D.B.)

Word on the street is that your
delivery date has been pushed
back to the first part of November
Not sure if the scotch is still helping
Thank-You

November
Scotch isn't cutting it, and patience isn't a trait I'm know for so it's an interesting experience. Still, November is around the corner... at least that's what I keep thinking to myself

Ship is scheduled to arrive in GA port on 10/31 and the current ETA for delivery is 11/21.
This will make this holiday season even more special.

The final countdown has begun
I am excited for you
As for your winter tyres - are you
going to mount them on the wheels
that came with the car then
go with aftermarket wheels/tyres
in the spring
It is nice when the Macallans 18
is for celebration instead of
depression
Get ready to enjoy like never before
Thank-You

:-)
Thank you, D.B. it is indeed getting close and I am counting down while going for a second round of Scotch (as I type).
The car ought to get to Long Beach next Monday morning, so your word on the street update is solid. We're already booking a few long overnight drive trips to celebrate the car.
I'm going to use the wheels that came with the car for now. I'm sure I'll build a new wish list as I get to know the car better, especially after seeing what David posted, but for now I'm just dreaming of driving it as much as possible.
You're absolutely right about the Scotch. This has been a good and happy reason to enjoy The Macallan 18. It's silly but I've been sipping it while tracking the ship and looking at S63 pictures. All in all this has been one big celebration.
Thank you again for all the great advice and the referral to the guys on the East Side. They are a pleasure to work with, I'm on the books with a fluid schedule, and I'll let you know when I drop the car for them to protect and tint.
Best,
Dan

Still waiting...
Car was supposed to arrive on the 21st, and the dealer can't place it with the carrier. They're doing their best, I'm waiting, and we'll see how it goes. Nothing much to do but wait...
Be that as it may--Happy Thanksgiving folks

I just found out that mine is still in California, waiting to come home, so it'll be a while longer. Oh well... thank goodness for Scotch...

Got an update that it's being picked-up for transport today and ought to get to Bellevue on Sunday. So, Monday prep at the dealership, and then to Eastside Auto Salon & Mr. Tint (thank you, D.B.) for the final setup before going home later next week.
Scotch and the holiday spirit should get us there fairy soon.
Pics to follow.

Rudy at Mr. Tint & Sun said that you
are planning on coming in the end of
this week or the first part of next week
Was the car ready to go when you got
to the dealership
Enjoy it
Thank-You

Short version is that the carrier screwed up. it is expected to arrive at the dealership tomorrow. Then we'll drop it off at the guys. If it shows up tomorrow... thank you! The guys have been great and very accommodating. I really hope this is it.

No need to rush as Rudy - Ben - Jay
know it is coming at some point
Please go over it very carefully when
you take the keys - before you leave
the dealership
You are going to love this car
Thank-You
