Australian options
There's an S 63 for sale in Australia. it's interesting to look at the optional features and associated places (in Australian dollars):
Optional Features
Metallic Paint
$2,400
Premium Sound System
$9,900
Night View Assist
$4,650
Metallic Paint Special
$6,375
Ceramic Brakes
$17,500
Carbon Fibre Engine Cover
$3,425
Driver Pack
$2,600
Carbon Fibre Pack
$7,500
LED Headlights Pack
$5,900
Metallic Paint Premium
$8,075
Wood/Leather Steering Wheel
$525
Alloy Wheels Special
$2,700
Garage Door Opener in Interior Mirror
$525
Night Pack
$1,600
Head Up Display
$0
Why are there three separate charges for the paint? And do the Australian cars really coming without standard LED headlights?

Interesting - thanks for sharing.
What you said and also, I find it difficult to understand how MB can even consider charging extra $525 the "Garage Door Opener in Interior Mirror".
This is the brands flagship. The cost of this "option" is insignificant in relation to the overall cost; irrelevant to add an extra $525 to whatever the car costs in AU. Can you imagine not being able to open a garage door from an S class...?
