I've been uncomfortable with not having a spare on longer trips. I've been looking for an acceptable solution since delivery of my S63 back in July '16. Here's my solution. It fits easily into my trunk, with or without the cabrio's partition.

I've purchased a new "space master" spare from a '14 CLS63. Here are the specs:
MB Part #: 230 401 27 02
Rim Size: 6.5Bx19H2 ET14
Tire Size: 175/50/19
Tire Manufacturer: Vredestein (Made in Holland)
Tire Type: Space Master
Physical measurements (Tire+ Rim): 24" Diameter, 7 1/2" Height.
Total Weight: About 40 lbs.

I've also purchased a complete MB "tire changing set" that fits nicely into the molded cutout below the trunk floor. MB Part#: A166 580 04 00
