Car starts to missfire at 5200 RPMs

It started to happen today when I accelerate hard car takes off like a rocket but when it hits 5200 RPMs it starts to perform as if I've hit the rev limiter. As if the spark plugs are missing. Could it be water in the gas?

What fuel would you recommend for my 2015 S63 Coupe AMG RennTech upgrade

Doubt it has anything to do with the gas.

If it has a Renntech tune I'd have that checked first - restore the stock ECU program and see if the problem persists. If it does, take it to the dealership for diagnosis. If it is resolved, then there is an issue with the tune that Renntech should resolve.

I'd suggest checking this out ASAP, if you have a problem with the tune or spark plugs and the engine incurs damage, M-B will probably not cover it under warranty because the ECU has been modified.

OK. I'll reach out to my RennTech technician.

S63 Gearbox problems

Hello

I bought my 2017 S63 2 months ago. After 2 weeks the Gears started to go crazy, sometimes the car starts perfectly and sometimes it goes to 3,000 rpms before moving an inch! I took it to the dealer ship and they kept it for two weeks. They said it was a problem with the gear box but now was fixed.
After two weeks everything was perfect but I notice that if I start very slowly the car seems to be like in clutch and slowly goes in to gear?
If I go full throttle you don't feel it, but driving smooth or slow it seems to take a few seconds to really engage in the first gear.

This is my first AMG, is this normal?

Probably due to the 7-speed MCT? Remember, this is NOT a classic auto box with torque convertor and it is also NOT a dual clutch DCT box, so it can have some annoyances at very low speed (Standstill in gear 1). Driving in Comfort keeps you always starting in gear 2, and more relaxed, using Sport it will go to gear 1 just before stand still.
