Any word on 2018 deliveries?

I ordered a new S63 coupe from my dealer back in December...i.e. the new 4 liter engine, etc. My dealer is saying JUNE for delivery???? Anyone else have one on order; what are you hearing for delivery date? Thanks...

I have one on order and it's scheduled to be built in March. June sounds about right for delivery. It's crazy to deliver in June and call it a 2018. It should be a 2019 model IMO.

My S63 Cab is scheduled to be built the second decade in May, so should show up in Oregon around the beginning of July.

Agree. Hopefully they'll realize it is better for manufacturer and buyer to just call them 2019.

I am waiting to order a replacement for my 2015 until I can reserve a 2019... don't want to buy a new car and have it 'a year old' a few months later. I realize the car will be identical and there will no be difference on warranty, but 2018 vs 2019 will affect resale value down the line.

Nope. I confirmed with AMG Product Management that they will be MY2018s.

That's not good for me as my 2018 will be year old in 2-3 months if that. I can't understand why the mid cycle refresh is being released in summer which is towards the end of MY18. Does anyone know what they are thinking
