Inconsistent Badging - AMG and S63
I've noticed that on some S63 coupes/cabs have badging on reversible sides. In other words, some have AMG on the left side of the trunk and some on the right. The same goes for the S63 emblem. Does anyone know the reason? Thanks.

MB changed sides. All ways was car numbers on left side and amg on right , a couple years ago they swapped. I complained to the dealer

W222 facelift (2018 model year) comes from 2017 year. When you see it next time, the easiest is to pay attention where rear bumper meets with diffuser. Older model (before MY18) has plain bumper, newer model is curved right above the reflectors:

Until 2016 AMG was considered a performance label of Mercedes, so for examle then you would buy a Mercedes S63 AMG. Then they changed it to Mercedes-AMG as a brand and then you would buy an Mercedes-AMG S63. That is why they changed the badging accordingly.
