Hi,

My car has an abnormal engine start up every time i leave it parked for 1-2 hours after a medium length trip.
The dealer checked the car almost 2 dozen times and also 2 people from AMG (Flying doctors) did custom updates with no luck.
Another problem is the RPM needle fluctuates +-(50RPM's) on light press)

Of course they refused to buy-back or replace the car. they also refused to extend the warranty!! 0 good will from their side.

I have the RPM fluctuation problem on my W222 S65. It's very annoying. Rough downshifting is another problem. Mercedes can't find a solution. Very disappointed.

I can feel you.
No goodwill at all from their customer care.

I am suing them next week for a replacement.

By abnormal, do you mean the vehicle actually shuts back off after you start it??? If so, I'd say abnormal is a nice way to put it.

Yes, it will either shutdown or the RPM will fluctuate like it is struggling to stay alive.

In my case its just a momentary fluctuation at around 1200 +/-50 rpm. It usually happens when I'm at a red light. Sometimes its a very short (about a second) but larger fluctuation and the you can feel the car vibrate in momentum like it wants to move.
