Best tune?

Who has the most powerful tune for the s63? Any idea how much faster the car will be?

+1 on eurocharged

Bromaguire 03-18-2018 08:44 AM

Is realistic to expect 130HP and 150 Trq gains from just the tune? I am ready to buy one I just want to make sure that I get the best tune option.

loungn14 03-18-2018 01:07 PM

Thanks for the kind words guys. Yes those gains are correct. Let me know and I can hook you up with pricing and walk you through the process!

Yes please contact eurocharged. I had renntech initially on my 2 cars but something was still missing. I had eurocharged tune them and they were both considerably better than Renntech tune.

I ending up selling both cars earlier this year and my replacements will come soon and I will choose eurocharged again for them.

For price and service you cannot beat eurocharged.

Quadrobenz 03-18-2018 04:43 PM

I had Eurocharged tunes on my 2006 SL600 and 2006 SL65, since sold. Both tunes made major performance improvements although I have no direct comparisons with other tuners.
Since this is the W222 forum be careful to verify the gains on the Eurocharged website for the W221 can be achieved on a W222. I do not see any product listings for the 2015 and newer S63's or S65's. I have not had my W222 S65 tuned because at the time I bought it the factory 738ft-lb torque limit had not been bypassed. This is a bigger issue for the 65 than the 63 but will still limit the torque gains on a 63. Perhaps Eurocharged has since worked this out, if so I do not see it discussed on their website. Since I have a new 2018 SL65 on order I am also curious about the tuning availability for the current production vehicles.

I had eurocharged on my 15 S63 and it was IMO better than the Renntech I had previously on the same car

Bahnstormer 03-18-2018 07:48 PM

Another strong recommendation for Eurocharged. I have their ECU tune on my 2003 E500 and love it.

Brabus makes 850 with warranty.

Sam, either way, the EC tune was DEF better than stock?

I just purchased a 2015 S65. Do you have ECU and TCUs for this model?

Why do you guys say this tune is the best one? I’m pretty ignorant when it comes to this but I did read the stats and it doesn’t provide anywhere near the gains other tunes do. Is it easier to install? Is it better on the car? What are the advantages and pros that cause you to say it’s the best? Thanks in advance.

I have a stage 2 tune from a guy in NY. He has done many, many AMG’s. And I can verify it made a BIG difference compared to stock. I haven’t had a chance to dyno it for the power #’s. So can’t say the exact gains I have made after the tune.

Caseyp 01-23-2019 10:23 AM

I'll do that. Thank you.

The tune numbers that you read on Eurocharged's website

are the basic numbers -

Eurocharged can make whatever changes you want from

your tune - hp / tq / fuel...

Contact: solomon@eurocharged.com

It does not cost anything to ask him questions and he explains

everything so you can understand it -

I have both the ECU and TCU tunes from Eurocharged

and the difference is night and day -

I have to laugh at myself when I think about not doing the tunes

when I first got the car - even at my age the ignorance of youth

can rear it's head -

Your car will blow you away with a tune - ECU / TCU -

Please keep this thread updated if you decide to do the tune(s) -

Thank-You

Nice, do you have dp?

sales@eurocharged.com 01-24-2019 10:14 AM

Hey! We can definitely tune this car for you!

We are able to make some serious power out of these cars!

PM me and we can get you set up!

Caseyp 01-24-2019 12:55 PM

OK, all. Talked to Solomon and the tune is in process. He is sending me a handheld tuner. I will upload the contents of my ECU into it, email it back to him. He will do the new tune and email it back to me for download. I will also keep the original tune so I can download if there is ever a problem. He also warranties the entire engine if there is ever a failure attributed to the program. All for only $2400. Best part is that there is no down time while I am waiting for a tune.

To obtain the TCU tune you have to send the TCU

to Eurocharged (EC) -

I had the TCU removed in the morning - went to UPS

and shipped it over night to EC -

The next day EC received the TCU - did the tune and

the return overnight shipping -

The TCU arrived at 9:45am the next morning and was

installed by 10am -

A 2.5 day turn around -

And smooth crisp shifts became the norm -

Solomon could not have made getting the

tunes - ECU / TCU - any easier -

Thank-You
