2007 S65 with 145000 Miles
Seeking some advice. I have never owned a MB but have family members and friends who do. I am interested in getting an 2007-2012 S65. I seen one with 2 pervious owners with 145000 miles on it and the dealership wants 18999.00. I have purchased many vehicles even purchased one last year that is 23 years old with 220000 original miles and I drive it daily (Not an MB). So question 1. Would this be a good deal for this S65? Question 2. Are MB great high mileage cars? Question 3. Should I look for lower miles on a S65?
Thanks in advance.
Thanks in advance.

If it checks out after getting a PPI, just get it, but know that you may end up spending $3500-$8k a year in maintenance. And some years it could cost $2500 or $10k in maintenance if you bring it to the dealer or expensive shop.
Great cars though...and new, it probably cost $190-210k.

2018 AMG GLE 63 S Coupe; 2015 S65 AMG, 2007 S600
I own a 2015 AMG S65 and a 2007 S600 so I can certainly speak to this. The S600 has 103,000 miles on it and continues to drive like the day I purchased it- it's really the best car I've ever had (excluding my S65, and that's mainly due to the updated technology). Because it's a 2007, I continue to keep it under warranty through an EasyCare TotalCare policy. It costs me about $12,000 every three years, but it has more than paid for itself by covering minor repairs that wouldn't normally cost much, but on a Mercedes average about $5K a visit. If the S65 is in good shape and you plan on keeping it for a while, I would recommend looking at warranty options. It's a beautiful car- I hope it works out for you.
