Rear Window Sunshade
I had a 15' S550 that had a switch to lower and raise the rear window sunshade on the far left side of the dash along with switches in each rear door. My 18' S63 has the same shade but now there is no switches within drivers reach (only on the rear doors). Page 73 of the owners manual claims "Depending on Model", are all 18' S63's like this?

Looked everywhere, nada. Thought maybe the overhead console, nope. I do have a blank in my switch bank on the far left side, I did not order the night vision so I think that may be for that.

Yeah the far left is all driver assistance switches. Interesting, now I'm gonna go find a 2018 at work to check tomorrow out of curiosity. If they really removed it from the driver's access, that's pretty stupid IMO.

I realized that and thus I mentioned mine was a 2017. There are no buttons on the 2018 where mine are at.
I guess OP got the answer to his question.
The dash and it’s apps are nice, but the steering wheel function and buttons are more complicated than what I’m used to.

2018 AMG E63S sunshade stopped working
The sunshade on my E 63S stopped working. I read several of the suggestions on the forum. I knocked on the sunshade housing a couple times behind the back seat. It started working
