S63 ... spoiler or no spoiler?
Trying to decide whether to add a JBSpeed trunk spoiler to my 2014 S63 (Magnetite Black).
Anyone have opinions and/or photos of their installations?
Can’t decide whether it will add a nice improvement to the styling or just look cheesy.

Ok, thanks for all the great photos guys - I bit the bullet and got a color-matched spoiler from JBSpeed. I have to say service was excellent - I ordered Monday and he shipped it immediately and it arrived DHL the next day - $170 total inc shipping.
The part was well packaged and came with the required 3M tape - paint matching was perfect.
Here's some of my pix (excuse the dust - it's ash from the Washington wildfires) ...

Nah, it’s about downforce during cornering baby!
Also kidding, it’s about making the W222 style a little better - I still miss the look of my W221 with the bulging wheel arches.

Sorry, did you do the wrap of the interior trims like the door, center console and dash trims and is so, can you share with us who would like to do the same how it’s done ie how to remove them?
Many thanks. The car looks great.

Wow, nice 👍 job. Did you have to remove any of the exterior trims you wrapped including the side insets? Was the Mercedes hood piece plastic dipped? Thank you.

It depends on how well you can wrap. You don’t need to remove any of the pieces. The rocker panel inserts is a bit tricky. So that I had to remove the side skirts. The inside trim were left alone since its that piano black color. I like that classy look better than CF. If I ever decide to wrap interior trim later on. I’ll defiantly share the info here. And yes, the hood orniment was plasti dipped.

The front lower lip is held with clips. If you go under the front bumper. You will see how it’s held. Push the clips in and pull out. The side rocker panels are very difficult to remove. I don’t suggest anyone trying if you’re not familiar with working on cars. You can damage the paint trying to remove it. There’s a mixture of A LOT of clips and plastic nuts. If someone here can post the WIS instructions. Itll be easier for you to see how to remove the side skirts. You can’t just remove the side insert unless you remove the rocker panels completely. Because there’s clips you need to push in to release the inserts.
