Extended Warranty?
Hi All. I have a 2015 S63 that I really enjoy, but it just went out of warranty - and I'm hesitant to drive this car out of warranty due to the insane cost of repairs. I drive 15k miles per year...so something is bound to go wrong sooner than later.
My question for your collective wisdom: Do any of you have experience with extending your warranty? Thanks - Scott |

Just purchased a 7yr (3more year) 100k MB warranty
Just dealt with Cassandra who was amazing. Went for the 100k over the 75k as the difference was $400.00

Yes I believe the car must have an active warranty to extend through MB |
I called my local MB dealer and said that I can get warranty from a different dealer (Cassandra) for 3600 can you match it , she said no but can do it for 3700 But no cheaper, so I said I’ll call you later with vin and I’ll take it. Then when I got back to her after 2 attempts she says 4700 and it went up since I went 30 days past from buying CPO, I said no thank you. Called Cassandra and got 2 years for the 3600 , I was only trying to support local dealer ,but don’t waste your time and go straight to Cassandra, super nice and thanks for posting her number. |
I never knew this was possible? So your saying if you have a CPO car and as long as the warranty is still valid you can call another dealer to attempt to get a better deal on extending the warranty? Surprised local dealer couldn't match it? Interesting, thanks!
