S63 exhaust on a s550
I'm uncertain if the s550 has electronic valves. If not how would one go about adding s63 mufflers w valves to an s550? Looking into downpipe highflow primary cats straight all the way back to amg mufflers.

Just run a switch to the valves. That way you can turn it on/off as you please? For the s63, it only opens when it’s in ‘S’ and ‘M’ mode.

My 2015 S550 with Sport package has the valves but I hear zero difference. I have asked people and they say the same. The s63 has a difference you can hear and I think it is the actual engine vs the muffler.
I just reread the above and I have never shifted manually but will try and see if there is a sound difference.

Agreed there are valves but they look to be vac line controlled vs electronic...hmm maybe cut and swap the mechanisms? I am not sure I want a switch there. Rhemus I believe has one that is vac controlled but seems pricey when you add it to downpipes...Ballin on a budget lol

I ended up purchasing the stock s63 down pipes all the way back past the h pipe. Trying to decide if I should find the rear section of amg exhaust or buy aftermarket mufflers??
