W222 S63 here. This is my second time changing the rear brake pads at 41K while the fronts are still going strong. What my concern is, only one side (driver side) pads have worn out completely while the passenger side pads are like new. What can be causing this? Bad Caliper? Lane assist? The mechanic conf rimed that my caliper is good. Also, mostly the inner side pad had worn out compared to the outer pads.
So i changed the pads and resurfaced the rotors and noticed that the pads are only rubbing at the outer portion of the rotor. What can be causing this uneven wear.
I found this video but not sure if the pin is the issue.

What year is your S63? If you have a good working relationship with your MB service department, they can get it good will it. Or call MBUSA and ask for assistance. Get it checked first to see if it’s the caliber or rotor.

Do you use the lane keeping assist? That is the likely culprit if so.

No you can't lol. This isn't a 1989 Honda accord. There are no aftermarket suppliers who have readily available calipers for this car
On my 2015 S63 the driver side rear Is eating the outer edge second time in 3 months I have had to put pads. Yes I use lane assist also. Did you find out the reason for it yet?
