I used EBC red pads all the time on my w202 c43 with no probs. Definitely lower dusting, can't remember if they were squeaky or not.

Impressive. I personally didn't have fun taking my car out on a track day. Brakes were too mushy and tires weren't grippy enough for the kind of track driving I'm used to. I don't feel like modding...

I agree that checking the oil level in this car is a major PITA. My readings are always inconsistent, and it takes forever for the level to change when I add oil.

IIRC mine went at about 10k miles. Previous owner had the repair done under warranty and it was MB documented (I called MBUSA to check before I bought it).

I meant mount the plate so it's pointing towards the center of the car versus towards the wheel. There should be multiple mounting points for the plate so you don't have to mount the tow hook exactly...

Are you using stock size tires? Sometime is you have larger tires it confuses the computer bc the rolling diameter is different. Other than that, maybe it's a bad (or dirty) wheel speed sensor.

Glad you figured it out. But as an FYI, when you turn on xenons, the beam of light goes from down to up, whereas halogens just turn on, if that makes sense. It's pretty noticeable.

Sounds like lifters to me, def not a cam adjuster. The cam adjuster noise is a quick rattle only at initial start up, not a constant ticking.
