I've had the battery in the wife's E250 drain in just a couple weeks of vacation. This was in the cold winter, though. I would recommend a smart charger.
No fuel stabilizer is needed for 6 weeks.

A 0W oil is less viscous at -35C than a 10W is at -25. Mobil 1 0W40's pour point is -48C.
