The only way to tell for sure is the vin#. If it's in the range of the MBZ service bulletin, its a problem. The oil leak you mentioned may or may not be related, but the fix for the head bolt issue...

The labor cost to install spring only slightly less than installing coil overs. I get the H&R coil overs instead. $500 labor is more like it with an alignment.
