Yes, I have a Japanese magazine on the R129 chassis and it mentions the SL55. Let me see if I can get it scanned.

It has the non-supercharged V8 however, not the 496hp tire roasting V8 in the R230...

That was it - it was my friend's car and we had tried kicking the living sh!* out of it.
