Right, but if you lower the car to reduce wheel gap, then your ground clearance is going to be even lower. You may have scraping problems going over tall speed bumps and driveways that are at a more severe angle. The 63/63S models have adjustable height air suspension so they are less susceptible to this problem.
My previous car came from the factory with springs that were prone to sagging - amazing but true in this day and age. After 2 years, the springs had sagged by about an inch. The car looked great, but speed bumps were a butt-puckering experience. Eventually, I had the springs replaced before the warranty ended, but yea.
