Engine Oil Filter Question
I know 'Fleece' filter is the recommended one for our vehicle.
My question is, would any fleece one work or it has to be a specific type?
Looking at few options:

Has anyone had any experience with number 1-3 ones?
Is there a place from where you guys buy filter in a pack of 2-3?
Looking forward to your advice and input. Thanks for all the help and cooperation

This is a critical component go MBZ, cheap filter are just that cheap.
In saying that, you also do not want too good of a filtering system, some are too tight of a flow and can not push proper amount of oil into the system. Wix makes such a filter

Don't buy a critical part like oil filters from eBay, you just don't know what you are getting. Go to Pelican Auto Parts and buy Mann fleece filters. Mann filters are German. They are the best and are rebranded as MB filters. This is the filter for your CLK500:

Get the Mann HU718/5x - it's a synthetic fleece filter rated for extended oil change intervals. I've used these for probably close to 500K miles in my MBZ cars and never had one lubrication related issue.

Thanks so much guys, appreciate your help.
Have one last question, any place where I can buy these filters in a pack of 2-3 for cheap?

I haven't found them discounted in multi-packs, but places like rmeuropean and autohausaz tend to have them for around $12 each. My local Advance Auto store sells them for about $18 each, and I always seem to have a coupon for about 20%-25% off, so I often ppicke them up there.

I get them from Amazon:
For 10 bucks you really can't go wrong. I use Mann filters for cabin/intake on all our cars, they make a very quality product.
