I'm aware of that and totally agree. The only thing is I don't live in NY and there are hardly any yellow cabs here
Anyway, it's her color, so I know better not to argue. Initially, she wanted it to be pink. Imagine a pink w205 :-) So you see, yellow ain't that bad.
It's ok!! I like the yellow!!! Then again all I did was vinyl the sideskirt and put some German stripes on them and small hood badges and everyone hates that too.. I guess if it isn't stock someone will always hate it... Oh well... But your yellow 205 looks amazing!!!

Nah. You got to have thicker skin than that. You can never make everyone happy, and you're not supposed to. It's your car. Do whatever makes you happy. If a lot of people like it, awesome. If they all hate it, well, there's nothing anyone can do about it At the end of the day, if it makes you smile when you look at your car, that's what matters.

You've got my wheels turning on a color change. I'm looking at one of the 3m colors to wrap my car when it comes. So brilliant blue isn't available in the US, but 3m makes 2 colors I think would work very well.
The first one is called blue raspberry, the second is deep blue metallic. I haven't gotten any local pricing yet, but my neighbor does it. He changes his color once every 4 months, and right now his ML is color change purple grey matte.

Every 4 months? At 3k for each wrap, it's 9k/year. Are you sure your neighbor is not dealing? :-)
He does tints and wraps for a living. He changes his daily driver as advertisment. Its funny though, sometimes he has the car 2 different colors for a week or so. He's like the GC who does beautiful kitchens for a living but still doesn't have cabinet pulls for his own cabinets. But damn! 3k for a full color change was lot more than I had expected. The first time I did it, it was hard. I used Hexis which made it even more difficult because that thing sticks like a SOB. Last time was 3M which was so much easier. It let me move the vinyl around before it settled down. I didn't remove any part. Some said to move the bumper, but I don't see how you can wrap it once it's removed. Anyway, it's not that hard. Just need a lot of patience first time around. And make sure you watch the right video on YouTube because some of the guys are doing it the wrong way. And check out Metrorestyling.com for the vinyl.

Lol you're a good sport! But color aside, you did an awesome job at wrapping. You got me thinking of getting mine wrapped..just to protect it from rock chips and all since I think I got two tiny ones already. Not set on the color but nothing yellow or pink :p. Maybe matte white. But hey, i think pink wouldve worked well for your wife, paris hilton had a pink continental gt.
