What do you mean shipped to Kurdistan? EC opened a shop there and Abdul is a representative. Contact him and he will be able to flash your honda any day Btw, there is a new service - to tune in your home, so Abdul will bring a dyno to the address where you live
What is that shift issue you are talking about? I currently have v5, never had any previous version.
it happens on upshifts only. mostly in s mode when going from 1st to 2nd gear... and it mostly happens when the car takes off from a full stop but sometimes happens while the car is rolling in 1st gear with no throttle... so the majority of this will happen from a stop sign/stop light...
i forgot about this video i had but it's not very good since it doesn't show the rpm gauge... i've been wanting to show a video of the speedometer with rpm gauge and on the amg screen so it will show what gear i'm in but i've been unsuccessful at catching it happening... this video is from my dash cam so it only shows the view out my windshield and sound... i know there is music playing but this is all i've got for now
it's a very short clip... i'm in the left lane waiting for an opening to move to the right lane... i'm not sure what mode i'm in... either way it would be 1st gear or 2nd gear... i see an opening and i accelerate maybe half to 2/3 throttle and almost immediately it bogs, rpm goes down and then goes right back up...
most of the time when this happens, it startles me so i let off the throttle slightly so the car doesn't jerk that much... but if i keep my foot on the throttle, it basically acts similar to me tapping my brakes to slow down for a second and then accelerate quickly and then it goes back to normal... the car jerks enough to knock me and my passenger forward and back a little...
i hope i can catch the rpm gauge one day....

i've done the tcu reset even though i've heard that this doesn't really work on the c63... i've also unplugged the battery for a couple of hours and that hasn't helped... tranny fluid was changed less than 7k miles ago... it was changed last year...

i've had this issue for a couple years now
This sums up my issues perfectly. Its so arbitrary i cannot get it to happen back to back. But when it happens the car bucks like its going to toss me out....
I wonder if this is an issue with tune and header combinations? Maybe it has to do with the fact that both mainstream header choices for the car are vastly different and one specific header tune may not work well with either of the choices.
I have mbh headers, i wonder if people who have the v5 tune and headers can chime in to see if there is a direct relation.
The exhaust pairings and 4-1 mhp/arh are vastly different from the mbh 4-2-1.

i've had mbh catless headers since my first custom tune with jerry@eurocharged... that was v3 i think back in 2010...

Doesn't seem like it's the tune. Sounds more like your valve body solenoids need replacing.
could you please elaborate? would like to hear the story
Likewise.
When mercedes germany reviewed the data from my car, they said the adaptations are within 1 percent and the spool valve data was within 3 percent.
Not sure if this is related to solenoid activity.

Any idea when the pre-ordered ones will start shipping out?
Question though -- I had an ECU tune from yall back in the day in my C32. A couple of features that I abolsutely loved about it were:
1) I could start from 2nd gear - just like the C63 does in "C" mode.
2) I could shift at any RPM, even if this meant bogging which I obviously didn't do. I hate that I have to wait to get to 1500 RPM to shift. Since our trans can be so slow under light throttle, the ability to click the shifter at 1200 RPM and actually shift at 1500 or 2000 is is very appealing to me.
Are these things currently addressed in the V5 tune or will they be available in the V6 tune?
Thanks!
Hi EC,
Can you guys please answer these? Genuinely very interested. Thanks.
Well the C63 would enable you to start out in 2nd gear under C mode. As far as bog down shifting that will not be enabled for the V5 nor the V6
You stated that the V6 tune would be coming pretty quickly, yet when I called, the person over the phone told me that there was no V6 tune. He went back and asked and they told him that there would be one, but no time soon.
What's the deal? Is it coming, what are the changes and what are the differences? And if it is coming out, when?
