Mercedes C300 Exhaust Tuning
Hello Guys,
Was wondering what is the best mod to do with my exhaust, its still in stock condition, as we know its a 2.25".
Came to my mind many thoughts, some guys said just replace the resonator with X-Pipe, some said delete cats...
My options are:
1- Only replace X-Pipe with Resonator
2- Delete 2nd cat and replace Reso with X-Pipe
3- Replace Reso with X-Pipe and delete mufflers (Also could be with deleting 2nd cat)
4- Delete all cats and only replace X-Pipe with Reso and leave stock Mufflers
5- A Whole Exhaust System with Headers (This would be a bit expensive and its my very last chance)
Im asking for a loud sound, a very loud sound without drone of course and a great sound also.
Please advise what is best to get my needs, your options are welcome.
Thank you in advance

Please put a Flowmaster Super 40 or Pro Series, instead of the resonator and let us know what it sounds like? If you're going to be experimenting anyway...
Our cars do not sound good without the rear mufflers. The X-pipe makes very little interior noise increase.

i agree get an x-pipe with some nice mufflers(cheapest but effective option), or just go all out and get a full exhaust costing thousands of dollars.

Thank you guys, Would you recommend me to take out all the Cats ?
i think i'll go with x-pipe instead of reso and second cat, and will upgrade mufflers depends on the sound. What mufflers you recommend ?

what are the emissions laws where you live? I don't think to many people touch the second cats just for that reason and if laws are strict good luck finding a shop willing to do it.
Theres a few options I was planning on going magna flow mufflers one day. If you go on youtube and search you'll find a bunch of different set ups. That will probably help in your decision, instead of us just throwing ideas at you.
