Just purchased new 2016 E63 AMG and love it. The only thing I could not wait for was to order or wait for a car to come in the chicagoland area with the 5 point rims. I currently have the titanium 10 spoke rims that I do not like and would like to replace them. Does anyone know where I could purchase OEM rims that are new or refurbished beside the dealer? I have found a few places but they do not have in stock. http://www.hubcaphaven.com/p/22656/a...124010800.html
These wheels are unicorns, rarely on eBay and sadly they are hard-to-find replica versions of this. The replicas certainly don't hold a candle to the strength of the OEM forged wheels
Replicas for those can be had for $125 each. I ended up going with these. At the same price and I am very happy so far. The stock TPMS did not fit in the tight space between the spokes, But Town fair tire had them for $140 installed for all four and I like that they look kinda hidden in the wheels now. Plus I do not have to have the sensor taken out of the tire on a winter/summer/winter changer over.

Not sure if they are really that hard to find on ebay. Whether or not they are appropriately priced on ebay is another story.

Definitely need to make sure the replica's are well made. I'm always wary about having that much weight going at speed on anything less than reputable wheel makers. Safety first as always.
Why would someone put replicas on a 6 figure car? That's absurd IMO.
I have the 5 spoke OEM wheels in black willing to trade for the 10 spoke. I like them a lot.
Rear tires have brand new Michelin PSS 95% tread
Front tires have Continental ExtremeContact DWS with 75% tread.
PM me if interested.
Been doing it for 25 years. Just because it is not marked Mercedes or such does not mean they were not made by a reputable maker. Alcoa use to make 75% or the rims make on new cars back in the day. Just check the design and the way the rim is made (forged, cast, etc)
