Alright guys I have these after market sport pedals that I got off eBay for like $30. I decided to get them all because my old rubber pedals were needing a new ones and I liked the metal look. I had them laying around for the past 3-4 months and now decided to open them from the box and give them a look. But I want to know is are they safe? Because here in Florida there's always off and on raining, so I need to know if anyone had any experience with them as for feet slipping off the brake for example and etc.

Those rubber pegs are for it not to slip. How good they are is another thing . Why don't you try outing the pedal on the floor get it wet aND rub your foot on it if it slides don't use it.
