Stainless Steel "S-Class Style" Button Covers for Steering Wheel - the Results + PICS
So I've been playing around a lot with my C205 - it's the first car I've make some serious aesthetic changes to since it's fun and I thought I would share this here on W205 because the caps are universal and this would help more people out.
I've always loved the look of the S's Steering Wheel, specifically the really nice stainless steel buttons that really up the style. I saw a guide that physically replaces the buttons but that's way too much in terms of taking apart the wheel, risking the airbag deploying, etc.
So when I found these Adhesive-backed "stickers" for the steering wheel, turned out to be a lot better than expected.
They're actually solid stainless steel pieces with adhesive backs. The seller didn't give me a solid explanation but took the dive and it looks really great.
The alignment is perfect. The only gripe is during the night, the LED light isn't as bright as it used to be, but the tactile feedback is superb and you feel that quality metal.
Check out the photos. Hope this helps others on the fence about buying these off Aliexpress or eBay.

If I could I would, but they've gotten more serious about lease returns (at least in my experience) and I didn't want to shell out the $$ for professional install of the S-Class ones if this car is only around for 2 years. But thanks for the feedback!

interesting idea, not sure i'd have ever thought about changing those buttons. i think the black buttons contrast really well with the silver painted spokes.
