Thank you Jack! The GT3 RS was actually the inspiration for these colors.
I do have some wheel rub turning sharp into an uphill driveway and the like, but I'm just careful when I do and I raise the car to it's highest setting.
More to come! I'm working on a fully custom, aggressive rear diffuser with integrated quad exhaust (all gloss black) and front splitter.
I was thinking of rolling the fenders, but a friend with a body shop said their aluminum, and might crack during the process.

Alrighty, now I have some decent pictures of my newest baby with the right rims on it, so I can share. It's finished in Everest Green Metallic with a Pebble interior. I detailed the exterior, but have so far only given the interior a cursory cleaning(too hot, even in the garage for interior work right now.)

Just bought my first CL.
61k original miles, drives like a brand new car.
I was lucky enough to get a keyless go card with it. Awesome to get in and just press a button to start.
I've overcome a few common interior problems (wheel switches, cup holders, etc) which I'll post about later.
Had front windows tinted already.
No Nav CDs included with it. Confused about the right ones to get.
Need to get it detailed, lots of spider webs.
Need better tires. The Pirelli's on it ride way too harsh for a car like this.
I also want to do something with the exhaust. The car has 4 cats. I tried having the mufflers removed but then it got too loud. Had them welded right back on.
Anyway I'll post all this in a proper thread.

I really appreciate it, guys. The unique color combination is what really sold me on the car. It was the only 600 I could find that wasn't Black or Silver. The others are certainly nice, but the green has a warmth and depth to it you can't get in the more traditional Mercedes hues. That interior is difficult to keep clean, though. Light tan shows everything. The best part is that I think that the color supports a lot more laid back vibe, making it quite a good sleeper. No one ever sees it coming, they only think they've got a shot.
I like the yellow on yours, LL, but I couldn't do it on a daily driver. Cops ignore me now, I don't think they could with that bright of a color. Do you have any issue with that?

The yellow is definitely bold and receives alot of attention. But I haven't had any police trouble..... yet. It's not a daily driver for me either. But when I do drive it... I drive pretty aggressively. Lol.... 120mph feels sooooo good. Lol

I typically drive like an old lady. Unless someone needs to be taught a lesson, or the road is clear and I'm feeling froggy. The limiter makes me sad, though. The car can do so much more than what it allows.

It might think it's a GT3 until you pitch it into a corner . These cars are big, and while they handle it well, it wouldn't have a prayer against a GT3 in the corners. Now, in a straight line it's a different ball game. I had mine tuned by Kleemann, for 625 hp/700 lb-ft, but nothing else. Plenty for a daily driver, and it made no difference whatsoever in terms of day to day driveability. What have you got, if I may ask?

Hey Jack...yes, I know. I was just trying to be funny referring to the "look" I gave it.
I had many fast cars (1,000++rwhp Supra etc) and this thing is a pig..no doubt, but I didn't buy it to be a corner carver. I bought it as a big comfy cruiser. It does surprise many unsuspecting cars on the highway though! straight line of course..
I did the Speedriven ecu'tcu tune, upgraded the intercooler pump, down-pipes, no mufflers (sick sound) dropped it (links), wheels and tires.
I fell in love with the color scheme on the GT3 RS and thought...hmmmm...could the CL pull off that look? yup! Lol

That does sound like a lot of fun. Mine's still as quiet as ever. I'd be curious to hear a clip of what your car sounds like, if it's not too much trouble. I've been contemplating fiddling with the exhaust, and yours would give me a good idea of what it could sound like.
